Vice Chair, MyData Global

Paula Bello

  • LinkedIn

Paula Bello has a doctorate degree in global design processes and over 20-years experience in product and service design management. Her professional heart is shared between design and entrepreneurship. Paula’s interest in data stems from a combination of inspiration and frustration. Firstly, inspired by what the world could be if we use data wisely and responsibly. Secondly, by the shortcomings of the current status of human experiences with data. Paula has recently been working with human-centric data frameworks, skills data, and data spaces EU-projects. She has a special interest in children’s digital rights, arising from observing her 6-year old son navigate and construct his own experiences: both by how ‘being online’ enriches his life, but also the uncertainties that are so difficult to manage. She is Vice-chair of the Board at MyData Global and one of the founders of MyData4Children.
