James Schoening leads the #Standard-Personal-Data-Model channel on MyData Slack. He Chairs the IEEE Person Ontology Subgroup as well as the overall IEEE Ontology Standards Working Group and helped champion approval of ISO-21838 Top Level Ontology. He leads the Linux Foundation ‘iPDS’ project, which is developing an open source ‘integrated’ Personal Data System. He is retired from US Department of Defense, but still pursuing his passion for personal data agency and its role in personal liberty.
