Gaby finished her Master educational Sciences, specialization remedial education, at the University of Leuven in 2002. Her belief is that learning comes from living and experiencing together and that there’s a great power in everyday life for everyone. She started in the field working with people with special needs as a mentor: residential, ambulatory and mobile. Later on she coordinated caregivers and networks around young children with special needs. Emphasizing on the fact that all children have their own unique ways to express themselves and show their inner strengths. In 2012 she pioneered on supporting inclusion in education and free time across sectors. In 2014 she launched a Hotel formula for children with special needs and their families. In the present time she inspires and works around quality of life for everyone in an personalized, intertwined and society based way. mIKs-it is a project from the hearth that combines experience, vision, belief and discovery.
