Andre is a researcher in the field of Digital Health. The focus of his work is on the re-use of personal health data for research and innovation. Patient involvement in combination with privacy-by-design technologies are key in his work. Andre published various opinions in Dutch media about the role of patients/citizens in relation to the sharing of health data. Furthermore Andre is advisor of the Health Holland Data Cooperative.
