Ame (sounds like “Amy”) Elliott is a Senior Fellow with Superbloom, an American non-profit using design to change who technology serves. She is a designer, researcher, strategist, facilitator, and educator working at the intersection of technology, policy, and user experience. Her portfolio of projects includes Internet of Things, dark patterns, and algorithmic accountability applications. Previously she was Design Research lead for IDEO San Francisco where she led tech strategy projects for Global 500 companies going from initial need-finding to in-market launch. She began her career as a research scientist and inventor at Xerox PARC and holds eight US patents for collaborative workplace technologies. Ame earned a Ph.D. in Computer-Human Interaction from the University of California, Berkeley.
