MyData believes that their vision should always be the best option to the individual as well as the service provider. Currently, a lot of the buzz around the European Digital Identity (EUDI) wallets is concerning end-users and wallets (operators).
For successful adoption it is important to recognize the role of service providers in the EUDI ecosystem as well. Service providers (Data Using Services) will play an important role in the human-centric design and the adoption of the wallet. Equally important is that it is going to affect their services and infrastructure (ICT and architecture). However, we do not know enough about the impact of the wallet on the ecosystem of the service providers. How can they benefit; what are the opportunities from using the wallet? What will stand in the way; which challenges will the service providers have to overcome? And what is needed to realise this in line with MyData vision and principles?
Through a hands-on and practical workshop we aim to better understand the impact of the wallet on the ecosystem of a service provider. By using the service blueprint tool we will map a customer journey for a service in the current ecosystem and in the EUDI ecosystem.
Key learnings for participants of the workshop:
– A hands-on experience to interpret how the EUDI wallet will affect the ecosystem of service providers.
– The opportunities and challenges of the EUDI wallet for the ecosystem of service providers.
– The service blueprint workshop as a practical and insightful way to learn about the impact of trends such as the EUDI wallet.
