To deliver the promise of human-centric personal data management, and guided by the MyData vision and declaration, organizations dedicated to this advocacy need to lead the way by example.
Ultimately such tools may be provided by various members of the MyData community, but until this becomes a viable option there are a number of benefits in migrating towards existing alternatives that are more widely adopted and in basic compliance with the MyData principles and values.
This workshop will first determine criteria for collaboration and relationship management tools to qualify as “fitting MyData principles” and then brainstorm to identify potential alternatives to common currently used tools.
Examples of benefits of human-centric tools for nonprofits and particularly for MyData Global itself include – but should not be limited to:
– Engagement with a wider community of likeminded people and businesses
– Easier to document compliance with universal privacy and ethics regulations
– Creating pathways for subsequent integration of MyData operator services
– to the societal shift towards human-centric and open ecosystems
